We're the Steury family, and we raise Miniature Bernedoodle puppies in our home in Osseo, Michigan — down in Hillsdale County, near where Michigan meets Ohio and Indiana. Our puppies are whelped in the living room and grow up underfoot, in the middle of ordinary family life. We keep the program small on purpose: one or two litters at a time, two breeds, so nothing gets rushed.
If you're looking for a Mini Bernedoodle in Michigan and you'd rather buy from the people who actually raised the puppy, that's what we are. Not a broker, not a website that lists other people's litters — our dogs live in our house.

Osseo sits in south-central Michigan, just off the Indiana and Ohio state lines. That puts us within an easy drive of a good part of the state, and of a few places outside it:
Most families come to us, and honestly we'd rather they did — you get to see where your puppy was raised and meet at least one of the parent dogs. Visits are by appointment, since this is our home rather than a facility with opening hours. If the drive is too far, reach out anyway and we can talk through delivery or meeting partway, along with what that would cost for where you are.
Each puppy's current price is shown on that puppy's own page. Prices vary by litter and change from time to time, so we keep them there rather than here, and we'll tell you plainly what a puppy costs before you commit to anything. A $600 deposit reserves your place — it's fully refundable for 48 hours, and it comes off the puppy's price rather than being an extra fee.
Bernedoodle prices vary widely, and a low number usually means something has been skipped — parent health testing, veterinary work, or the weeks of socialization that make the difference in the first month at home. We'd rather explain what's included than compete on being cheapest.
A Miniature Bernedoodle is a Bernese Mountain Dog crossed with a Miniature Poodle. You get the Bernese temperament — steady, loyal, good-natured, genuinely fond of children — in a size that fits a normal house, and a low-shedding coat from the Poodle side.
Compared with a Cavapoo, a Mini Bernedoodle is a little more dog. Bigger, more playful, more inclined to want a job and a walk. That suits a family with room to move and time to spend, and it's a good fit for households with older children who want a dog that will actually play with them. They're smart, which cuts both ways — easy to train, and quick to invent their own entertainment if you don't give them any.
The coat needs regular brushing and a groomer every couple of months. Low-shedding isn't no-maintenance. There's more detail — size, coat types, grooming, health — on our Mini Bernedoodle breed page.
Every litter follows the same path. The first three weeks are at home in our living room, monitored around the clock, with Early Neurological Stimulation starting early. Weeks three to seven are daily handling and steady exposure to sounds, surfaces and people. From week seven we start crate, potty and leash basics. Puppies go home at ten weeks rather than eight — those extra weeks with mother and littermates make a real difference in how a puppy handles everything changing at once.
We're intentional about which dam and sire we pair, and both parents complete health screening before a litter is ever planned. Pleasant View Puppies is RDB Certified and committed to the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. standards. The whole process is laid out on our adoption process page.
Start by looking at who's available now. If one of them is right, a $600 deposit holds him. If nothing fits, or the timing is wrong, there are two ways to wait. The free waitlist just means we let you know when a puppy becomes available — no payment, no obligation. The priority waitlist is the $600 deposit and moves you up the list.
Ask us anything before you put money down — we'd rather answer twenty questions now than have a family end up with the wrong dog.

We're in Osseo, Michigan, in Hillsdale County in the south-central part of the state near the Ohio and Indiana borders. We're roughly an hour and a quarter from Ann Arbor and Toledo, about an hour and a half from Lansing, and around two hours from Detroit.
Each puppy's price is shown on that puppy's own page, since prices vary by litter and change from time to time. A $600 deposit reserves your place on our priority waitlist, is fully refundable for 48 hours, and is applied toward your puppy's price rather than charged on top of it.
A Miniature Bernedoodle is a Bernese Mountain Dog crossed with a Miniature Poodle, so it's noticeably smaller than a standard Bernedoodle while keeping the Bernese temperament. Adult size varies with the pairing — ask us about the specific parents behind a litter and we'll tell you what we expect.
Yes, and we'd encourage it. Visits are by appointment because our program is small and the dogs live in our home rather than in a kennel with opening hours. Phone and video introductions are welcome too if you're further away.
Reach out and we can talk through delivery or a mid-way meetup for out-of-area families, along with any additional cost for your specific location.
Our puppies will be ready to join their forever families once they have reached 10 weeks old.
Every puppy comes with a 30-day Peace of Mind Health Guarantee, plus a 2-year genetic health guarantee based on parent genetic and OFA testing. We recommend a vet check within 10 days of your puppy going home.
